WARI
Way of the Warrior · Men's Retreat
Ancient tools. Modern warriors.
An initiation into healing, accountability, and empowerment that can't happen alone.
Those Who Are Awakening
WARI is an ancient Quechua word carrying two truths —
and both are your birthright.
The Pre-Incan Warriors
Before the Inca built their empire, the WARI walked this land — a legendary pre-Incan civilization of warriors and master builders who shaped the Sacred Valley itself, whose roads, temples, and artistry laid the foundation for all that followed.
But WARI carries a second and more sacred meaning in Quechua: those who are awakening. Not warriors of conquest — warriors of consciousness. Men moving from sleep to sight.
Wiracocha — The God of the Staffs
The supreme deity of the ancient Andes — Wiracocha — is depicted holding one staff in each hand. Not as weapons of war, but as symbols of a higher truth: the perfect balance of duality.
Sun and moon. Masculine and feminine. Destruction and creation. To hold both staffs is to embody the supreme state of consciousness — not the dominance of one force over the other, but the mastery of equilibrium. The warrior who has conquered himself.
This is who you are being called to become.
The Initiation
Not Your
Average Men's Retreat.
WARI is a 9-day immersion for men who are ready to step into a deeper level of leadership, accountability, and purpose.
Held in the sacred land of Pisac, Peru, in the heart of the Sacred Valley, this retreat draws on thousands of years of Quechua wisdom and earth-based ceremony — paired with modern tools for inner work and leadership.
This is for you if you know you are here to become a better steward of the Earth. A protector — of your family, your community, your own sovereign self. Ancient tools for the modern man.

Common Questions
FAQ
Everything you need to know before you say yes.
Who is this retreat for?
WARI is for men who are ready — not men who feel ready. It is designed for those who sense there is more available to them and are willing to do the real work to access it. Some background in personal development, meditation, or yoga is helpful but not required.
Men arrive from all walks of life: entrepreneurs, fathers, veterans, artists, executives. What they share is a desire to stop sleepwalking and start leading from the deepest version of themselves.
Is experience with plant medicine required?
No prior experience is necessary. Huachuma (San Pedro cactus) has been used ceremonially in the Andes for thousands of years and is held in a traditional, carefully guided context. You will be fully supported before, during, and after each ceremony.
All participants complete a health intake prior to the retreat. If you have questions about contraindications or medications, please reach out before booking.
How physically demanding is this?
Moderate fitness is required. Pisac sits at approximately 9,700 ft (2,950 m) elevation, and the Ausangate excursion reaches significantly higher. Most healthy adults acclimatize well with a day or two of rest — we recommend arriving in Cusco a day early if possible.
The Huachuma hikes involve walking mountain trails for several hours. You do not need to be an athlete, but you should be comfortable with sustained uphill walking and willing to be challenged physically.
How many men will be in the group?
WARI is intentionally small — a maximum of 12 to 14 men. Real brotherhood requires intimacy. Small groups allow for depth of connection, individualized support during ceremony, and the kind of honesty that only emerges when a man knows he is truly seen.
What exactly is included in the price?
Included: All meals, accommodation (shared or private room), airport transportation (at given time), every ceremony and workshop, local ground transportation within the program, and full facilitator support throughout your stay.
Not included: International flights, travel insurance, and personal expenses. We strongly recommend travel insurance covering both trip cancellation and medical evacuation.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
No. All workshops, integration sessions, and group communication are conducted in English. Some local ceremony facilitators work primarily in Spanish or Quechua — translation is always provided. No Spanish required.
What should I bring?
Layered clothing for varying temperatures (warm days, cold nights at altitude), sturdy broken-in hiking boots, refillable water bottle, sun protection, a personal journal, any required medications, and an open mind. A full packing list is sent to all confirmed participants after booking.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Deposits are non-refundable. We recommend all participants secure travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation for any reason.
